HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. Items ready to ship will be sent via First Class or Priority Mail. Please allow 3-5 days from notification that your order has shipped, unless we have come to a specific agreement..
Custom orders will take longer to ship since they need to be hand made. I will work with you to set expectations on when your order will be completed, when it will ship, and when you should receive it. I know you’re excited, I am too!
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY ITEMS?
I gladly accept returns and exchanges for non-custom orders. Please contact me within 14 days of delivery to coordinate the return or exchange. Ship items back to me within 30 days of delivery. For returns, I will refund your account upon receipt of the items and confirmation of its original condition. For exchanges, I will send the items for exchange upon receipt of the original items and confirmation of its original condition.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
If your order has not shipped, I can cancel your order. If it has shipped, you have to initiate a return. Please contact me.
DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?
There are two layaway plans available.
Artifact Process Layaway Program: I am happy to arrange a personal payment plan with you. We can work out the terms and frequency, there will be no fees or credit checks, and you will receive your purchase upon full payment. Please contact me and we can arrange a way for you to own an artifact that has captured your heart.
Afterpay: You can proceed as usual through checkout and select Afterpay as your method of payment. This is an agreement between you and Afterpay where you will agree to Afterpay's terms of 4 interest-free and fee-free payments (as long as you pay on time). Upon completion of your agreement with Afterpay, your purchase will ship based on the availability of the product (either soon if it is off the shelf, or within the designated shipping window for a custom or made to order piece).
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELRY?
To ensure your jewelry stays beautiful for years, do not swim or bathe with them on. Remove your rings when washing hands. Remove your jewelry before bed. And do not wear your jewelry when engaging in activities that may damage or snag them (e.g., gardening with rings on).
Patinated Pieces: Most pieces are patinated, meaning they were deliberately tarnished to give it that warm and dark silver glow and then sealed with archival wax. Over time, the patina will show wear, especially in parts that touch your body or regularly come in contact with objects. Don't be alarmed, it is part of the process of owning a patinated piece of jewelry, where it adjusts to your wear. If you prefer to have a deep patina throughout your piece, you're more than welcome to contact me and arrange reapplication of the patina at no charge. All I ask is you cover shipping both ways.
Bright Silver Pieces: If your jewelry is not patinated, and you'd like to preserve that bright silver look, store your jewelry in an air-tight container or bag. Air and moisture causes oxidation and tarnish.
How to Clean Your Wearable Art: Use a soft bristle brush or a soft cloth under lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap. Do not scrub hard, especially on patinated areas or on stones. Rinse well and dry immediately. To enhance a bright silver shine, you can use polishing cloths. Never use chemical or commercial liquid jewelry cleaners. These can damage your pieces, are terrible for the environment and for your health.
